Dr Samina Kausar is a highly experienced consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist with 20 years of specialist experience caring for women in Australia and overseas. She has fellowship qualification of Obs & Gynae from Australia FRANZCOG, from UK FRCOG and FCPS. She has special interest in minimal invasive (Key Hole) gynaecological surgery, pelvic floor reconstruction/ prolapse management, abdominal surgery, colposcopy and menopause management.
Dr Kausar believes every women deserves compassionate, respectful and evidence based care. She takes time to listen, educate and empower her patients to make informed decision about their health.

Dr Samina operates at St Vincent’s Private and Knox Private, with admitting rights at John Fawkner and Northern Health. Please check your private health cover before your appointment.

Dr Samina performs Mirena (IUD) insertion as a day procedure at the clinic, so there is no need to attend hospital.
